Diwali Celebration

The celebration of Diwali ,'The festival of lights' came alive at Our Lushkary Preparatory School, today 5th of November when the whole school wore a festive look with Diyas and lanterns adorning the corridors centre hall in bright colours. The rangoli done by students added the perfect setting to the festivity.

Students talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. Besides sensitizing students to the ill-effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them. The assembly concluded with giving away the message of a clean, peaceful and a bright Diwali.

Showers of Monsoon

To celebrate the showers of Monsoon, the pre-primary students came all armed in their raincoats & umbrellas to splish & splash & revel in the rain. All the children came dressed up in different shades of blue. Pre-primary students performed classroom activities to make learning more interesting. Instead of confining them to their class rooms, the students of Primary section were brought out in open by their teachers with umbrellas to enjoy the playful rainy weather.

Dental health

Todays 31st July, 2018 activity was on Dental health. 
Kids of primary section learned about how to brush their teeth and make them stay healthy.

Plantation

With the onset of monsoon season the students of our school actively participated in the tree plantation within the school premises few day before. They planted about 50 saplings in the school campus. In the process they learnt the names of many plants and trees. They have pledged to take of these and watch them grow.
